At Party Pals CT, everything we do is designed to give you and your child an unforgettable, worry-free celebration. These guidelines aren’t just rules—they’re our commitment to creating the best possible experience for your family, your guests, and your peace of mind.


The Right Space = The Right Experience


Let’s set the stage for something magical.


Whether indoors or out, a safe and welcoming environment helps our characters shine and your guests feel comfortable.


  • Indoor Events: Please allow enough room for the performer to move and interact safely with guests. A clear, ventilated area helps ensure an engaging performance.
     
  • Outdoor Events: We kindly ask for a level, shaded area free of mud, slopes, or hazards. Direct sun, rain, or wind can shorten a visit—so having a backup indoor space ensures the magic goes on, no matter the weather.
     

Weather & Rescheduling: Always in Your Best Interest


We’ll never compromise your child’s experience.


If weather conditions make an outdoor visit unsafe or ineffective, we’ll work with you to reschedule or move the event indoors. Our goal? Making sure your performer is at their best—and your guests have the time of their lives.

If a change becomes necessary:


  • We'll reschedule based on availability.
     
  • If that’s not possible, we offer a full party credit (valid for one year) or a partial refund, per our cancellation policy.
     

How You Can Help Us Create a Magical Visit


We love what we do—and we know your guests will too. A few quick requests help us deliver the joyful, high-quality experience we’re known for:


  • Kind Guest Interaction: Our characters love to play and pose, but rough handling can damage costumes. If needed, we’ll gently pause to keep the energy safe and positive for everyone.
     
  • Pets: We adore animals, but for safety, please keep them in another room during our visit.
     
  • Food & Drinks: Sticky fingers and frosting-covered hugs are adorable—but not costume-friendly. Keeping snacks and drinks away from characters protects the magic (and your photos).
     
  • Running Late? No problem—but we’re on a schedule. Unfortunately, we can’t extend visit times due to late arrivals. Thanks for understanding!
     
  • Minimizing Noise: Activities like bounce houses or pool time are best saved for before or after our visit—this ensures your little one can focus on the experience you’ve planned just for them.
     

Cancellations, Changes & What Happens Next


We get it—plans change! We’ll always try to be flexible and fair.


  • Need to Reschedule? We’ll do our best based on availability.
  • Venue Change? We’ll work with you to adjust travel logistics.
  • Need to Cancel? You can choose:
     
    • Full Credit (valid for one year)
    • Refund (minus a $50 cancellation fee per date)
       

Payment, Gratuity & Peace of Mind


We use secure, all-in-one invoicing through HoneyBook for a smooth experience from start to finish.


  • Payments: Due by the date on your invoice.
  • Late Payments: Please notify us if anything changes—unpaid invoices after 24 hours may result in cancellation.
  • Tipping: Always optional, always appreciated. Let us know if you’d like to include it in your invoice.
     

Safety & Trust


We take pride in what we bring to your home or event—and we treat your space with the same respect.


  • Injury or Accidents: Party Pals CT is not liable for personal or property incidents during our visits.
     
  • Costume Damage: In cases of significant damage caused during an event, clients may be held financially responsible.
     

A Few Final Notes


  • Assistants: Some characters require a helper to ensure your experience runs smoothly—especially at larger events.
  • Photos for Marketing: We occasionally take photos during visits. If you'd prefer we didn’t, just let us know.
  • Other Costumed Characters: To maintain a consistent experience, please get in touch before inviting outside performers.
