In 2019, Wendy had a simple but powerful idea—what if she could bring smiles to children's faces by providing fun, interactive character visits for their parties? She purchased a few costumes to get started, eager to make kids' events even more magical. But just as she was preparing to launch, the world changed. The pandemic hit, and everything went into lockdown.

At the time, Wendy and Brad were working for the public schools, adjusting to life at home with their two young children. As the world faced uncertainty, schools started offering free meals for families, and that's when Wendy saw an opportunity to spread some joy. She decided to dress up as one of the characters she had bought, just to bring a little cheer to the children and families picking up meals. What happened next was nothing short of amazing.

Seeing the smiles on the faces of those families, Wendy knew they had to do more. That day, she, Brad, and their kids decided to bring smiles to as many children as possible—by offering free character visits. It was a small gesture, but it made a huge impact. Soon, word spread from one family to another, and before they knew it, Wendy, Brad, and their kids were traveling all over Connecticut, bringing smiles and joy wherever they went.

They had a portable speaker, a simple digital camera, and a little banner that read "Happy Birthday." And from these humble beginnings, Party Pals CT was born.

Fast forward to today, and Party Pals CT has grown into a beloved family business, continuing to make kids' birthdays, events, and special occasions unforgettable. Over the past five years, we've had the privilege of watching countless children grow up—from their first birthdays to turning five and beyond. And as our own children are now teenagers, we’re reminded just how precious time is. Yet, the passion to bring joy and laughter to families has never faded.

At Party Pals CT, we're not just about providing characters for parties; we’re about creating memories that last a lifetime. We’re here to bring joy, laughter, and a sense of wonder to every celebration. We are so grateful for every family we've worked with and every smile we've helped create.
